MakeYour Privacy Policy
Effective July 17, 2026. MakeYour is a local workspace for creating and using native mini apps on iPhone.
Data on your iPhone
Mini-app documents, records, task state, watchlists, cached rates, consent settings, and selected project images stay in MakeYour's local app container. Your OpenAI API key is stored separately in iOS Keychain with When Unlocked, This Device Only protection. MakeYour has no user-account or sync server.
OpenAI requests
AI is optional and requires your own API key and consent. App generation sends your builder instruction and current declarative app document directly to OpenAI. An AI helper inside a mini app shows the exact task and text before every request, and sends them only after you tap Send. Photos, records, notification contents, other projects, and general device data are not attached.
OpenAI processes requests under the agreement and controls associated with your OpenAI API account. Review OpenAI's privacy policy before enabling AI.
Exchange rates
Live FX Watch sends selected ISO currency codes to the fixed Frankfurter API to retrieve the latest available daily reference rates. It does not send your records, photos, or OpenAI key. The service and network operators may process technical information such as an IP address to deliver and secure the request.
Collection and tracking
The MakeYour developer does not receive user projects, photos, keys, prompts, results, watchlists, analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage profiles on a MakeYour server. The app has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, data broker integration, or cross-app tracking.
Because reviewed text may be processed by OpenAI in connection with your account, the App Store label conservatively lists Other User Content for App Functionality, linked to you, and not used for tracking. Third-party processing is limited to providing a feature you request and must protect data consistently with published policies and applicable law.
Retention, deletion, and consent
- Remove your key at any time from AI Key.
- Delete a mini app from My Apps to remove its document and project images.
- Disable AI consent from AI Key to prevent new AI requests.
- Delete MakeYour from iPhone to remove all remaining local app data.
OpenAI data is subject to your API account's retention and deletion controls. Frankfurter may retain limited service or security logs under its operating practices.
Children and security
MakeYour is not directed to children under 13. OpenAI features require users to meet the minimum age and parental-permission requirements for their account and location. MakeYour uses iOS sandboxing, Keychain, HTTPS, bounded structured documents, and an allowlisted native runtime to minimize risk.
